????
Actually David, the point of the post was quite clearly to flag up the lectures for the diploma, as noted in my initial post, and detailed more fully in the What's On section. Sorry you should be so affronted by my post - as you said yourself, I never mentioned my research service, I have plenty of other opportunities for that elsewhere, but thanks for the plug! (Incidentally, the website address was changed many months ago).
I should elaborate to everyone, David was formerly one of the tutors on the course, but left half way through the run. He gave an excellent lecture on social history which was an inspiration in my final dissertation on the weavers of Perth, for which he was duly acknowledged.
Kind regards,
Chris

Thanks for letting us know about the lectures Chris. Had I been free on those evenings I would have been delighted to go. It's something I'll bear in mind in the future you never know they may change the day of the week next year.
Congratulations

Congratulations on gaining the certificate! I am almost at certificate level in my masters course, and hopefully in another 2 years I'll have the diploma - only the dissertation to go after that before the full masters is mine!
How long have you been studying for the certificate, and how long will it take to gain the diploma?

Thanks! The diploma starts October 6 until middle of next year, and then the Masters is the following year (probably starting October again, and assuming I can afford it! lol
What is your course then, and how much are you having to bleed for it?!!!
