I noticed the other day that ancestry.com accepts it but .co.uk doesnt - yet and as it seems to be an increasingly poplular way to pay for things over the www i suppose it it only a matter of time - or rather i hope it is !

Errr sorry to be thick but where did you get this info OP?
I live in Scotland and whenever I use SP I get charged £6 for 30 credits. If I can get it cheaper I'd love to know how.

Hello Maura,
There was some discussion about this in a previous thread.

No doubt participation in this has spread to other libraries since then. Your local libraries website may contain more information.
All the best,
Alan

I've always viewed the money I spend on SP credits as an inheritance tax on the Scots blood in my veins.paddyscar wrote:Hi everyone:
At first glance, it may seem a bit uneven, eventhough many of us have supported SP. Those of us not living in Scotland have not contributed to the original funding, or subsequent support through our taxes.

sp credits
Since it's now October I asked at my local library about the credits and was told that they were having problems. Apparently everything is working but they're not able to view certificates. The library says it's a problem at SP's end and they don't know when it'll be fixed.
