Thanks to both for the links...certainly some eye-openers here!

Alan...the book is only about 200 or so pages and the section on the Irish poor only about 8 or 9. If you're interested in the pdf let me know and I'll send it on.

Thanks for the instructions on shortening the link...I think you told me before and I did make a note of it, at the time, but you know what happens to notes.
