What brilliant news!!! I am descended from William b: 1874 two years before Susan. William married a Robina Niven in 1905 and they had 3 sons, John (my grandfather), William and Robert. John married a Mary Agnes Hannah in 1933 and they had 3 sons, Willaim John (my father) , Malcolm and Peter. I am one of 3 sons!
I have managed to get quite a bit of info from Scotland's people & origins.
How much info have you got ? Do you know that the registrar entered the wrong name for the groom on John and Susan's marriage cert? I think I have found Mungo's birth and if correct, his father was a John (no surprise there then!) and he married an Isabella Muir and if that's correct his father was Duncan from Lochgoilhead and his wife was a Mary McKinlay, married 1768. This really really is brill news!
