What Sheila,
You mean you don't cruise around Bel Air admiring the houses of the rich and famous? I commuted to UCLA for 10 years when I was in graduate school  Nice neighborhood :D but no place for a student on a tight budget to live or try to park!

Still, it's a good library...

Regards,
Sarah

Brilliant - I knew I wasn't mad! :) Thanks Maggie.

Now here's the crunch - download like crazy!!!! :) From what I have heard on another forum, this is only available until April for non institutional access. So I'd get cracking if I were you, just in case it's true! :)

Mightily relieved... (I hate getting people's hopes up for nothing!) :D

Thanks Maggie =D>

I found a couple of articles that may or may not be mine, and also found one article that is mine, but a big thank you goes to a kind soul on TS for giving me the information for that one beforehand. Still can't find my James Russell's death notice though, even though the Mitchell Library told me it was there.

It's great to have this resource...thanks again Chris and Maggie :)

Anne H

Thanks Alan and many thanks to Maggie for the post. So far I have found 3 articles with my Great Aunt Isabella in teacher training, her exams and her first post to a job in Rathen! I've also found one article for a church bazzar for the Bon Accord church with one of the great aunts working a booth and one of the Mr. Clerihew's as a workman--all from the Aberdeen Journal which I haven't been able to access anywhere else!

Hi Carol,
I've been deep in the Aberdeen Journal also :D Even found people mentioned who were living in small villages far from the city-- great stuff!

See you there,
Sarah
