State Library databases – Access from home.

The 1600-1900 British Newspapers database was recently added to those freely available from home to all residents of New South Wales.

The current state of the game for each State and Territory is as follows. If you think your State is relatively neglected, and can think of no good reason why, you could write to your local State Library and/or your State Member of Parliament and ask for an explanation.

Residents of South Australia now have access from home to “Nineteenth Century British Library Newspapers” via their State Library. See link above.
