Hi Ann
When a file is saved to 'temporary internet files' it may be cleared every time you switch off your PC - if it is set to do that. In which case you have lost it totally.
If you only clear your Temp Internet folder of files and cookies periodically then it may still be there but hidden behind some obscure name. If you know the date that you accessed it you should be able to locate it by using the search facility set to look for " .tmp" files. there will be dozens , if not hundreds, but at least you can check them by date and open them.
Sorry to be so pessimistic but a modern PC with umpteen Gigabytes of memory can hold an awful lot of files.
If you find masses of .tmp files perhaps you should clear them out and increase your available memory space.
Fingers crossed for you.
