Maillies in America

Post by Susie Q » Thu Jul 14, 2011 7:58 pm

I posted a plea for help in 2006, seeking information on members of my Gran's family. Her neices & nephews were taken to the U.S.
by their mother, who was running away with her "fancy man". I obtained scraps of info here and there, but was never able to pin them
down. For a while I got bogged down with "family troubles", and lost interest in genealogy..........too much else going on !
I was contacted today by a descendant of the flibbertygibbet, who absconded with the bairns, OH JOY ! Now, I hope to learn about
what happened all those years ago. It couldn't have happened without TS. Thank You. =D>

Hi Cath
It's great when things work out like that - I hope a little more of the story reveals itself! :D

Best wishes
Lesley
