Hi there,
I have discovered three messages in my 'outbox' which do not appear to have been sent. I try to send them again, and it looks like they have sent, but they don't appear in the 'sent messages' box. I of course tried to send a message to admin, but realised it would do the same thing.
Hopefully this can be resolved!
Nina

Re: Private message problem
Hi Nina,
In my understanding, messages remain in the outbox until they are opened by the recipient. If they are still there, it means they have not been opened. If I'm wrong, Andrew or someone else will correct me!

Re: Private message problem
Thanks Sarah,
I had forgotten that! There's two very old messages in there to the same person, so they may not have revisited the site. The third one is a new message.

Re: Private message problem
Hi Nina,
Sarah's memory serves her well. It is the case that if a message has not been opened by the recipient that it stays in your outbox. Only if it has been opened does it move to your sent items.
All the best,
AndrewP
