Albert McLachlan born 1891 and married Mary McKeekin Richmond

I think Albert was born on 13 08 1891 in Hamilton, Lanarkshire. I have found a John F McLachlan.
Can anyone tell me what the F stands for and where he was born . He married an Elizabeth Blaney in Hamilton on 2 5 1879. What date did John die on and where?. Than you for any help given.

If you look at John’s marriage certificate in 1879 it may tell you his middle name. It should also tell you his mother’s maiden name which may make it easier to find his death.

John McLauchlan looks to be in the 1901 census in Blantyre. John 41, Elizabeth 34, James 20 & Albert 9.

1911 census Blantyre James F McLachlan 51, Christina 9 & Lorina 16.

Lorina looks to have married Robert Hutton in Blantyre 1913.

1921 census Blantyre has John McLachlan 62, Elizabeth 56, John 18 & Christina 19.

Elizabeth McLachlan nee Blaney appears to have died in Blantyre in 1933 aged 68. Mother’s maiden name McGuines. That certificate should tell you whether John was still alive at that date, helping to narrow the search for his death.

Albert McLachlan married Mary McMeekin Richmond in 1917 (Note correct spelling of her middle name!). Mary was also born in 1895 (Registration District of Glasgow (Hutchesontown), Lanarkshire)

John McLachlan married Elizabeth Blaney in 1879. He did not use a middle name on that occasion. Where did you get a John F. McLachlan in connection with your research in this family line?
