Hi all
It appears odd to me that when I come on here, for a wee moan about SP.
My problems are not the same as the others, who have a different complaint and we have posted here on the same day.
OK, at the moment a few of us are having a pain with getting on past pages.
Is everyone in the same paddleless canoe with us at the moment?
Or does it work for some and not for everyone?
Davie
How come?

Re: how come?
Hello Davie,
by all means have a moan about SP: we all do, but do not forget to look at other sources and realise what you have.
I have checked my Previous Searches, where the drop-down page numbers work fine, and Viewed Images, where the page has to be selected twice before it goes there. I can live with the latter.
ActiveX still works for me, although I always download. SP have tried to fix ActiveX where it affects a small subset of the total number of users, but they have had to give up. The main reason is that ownership of the viewer has changed hands, and the new owners do not want to put any effort into supporting that package. Their alternative costs a lot more. SP are leaving the matter as it is for the time being until they assess other possibilities.
I have had no problems with any freezing of screens.
Anything else?
If there are matters that are really irritating people, the User Group can use what influence it has, but we need to know the problems and the number of people affected.
Regards,
John

Hi Davie
I'm in about the same boat as John. We seem to still have paddles.
I can view my previous images but sometimes it takes one or two extra clicks to get the message across just which page of results I want to go to (I currently have 24 pages of images). My previous searches all seem to be there and there are no problems (I currently have 36 pages of them). My screen isn't freezing and my images look like always. I realize none of this helps your situation though.....
Best wishes
Jean
