nothing yet but

Post by dstew » Wed Feb 15, 2006 1:15 am

I have no such success stories of great magnitude, but what i find the most satisfying is when you find a relative to add into my family tree is bringing them back to life in a sense and by having them added is that they are not forgotten!!

After searching the medical records and finding they are well out of date
I realised what we are suffering from is an inflammatory condition of the research lobe of the brain called GENEALOGITIS.

It is non-contagious under normal conditions but can affect web surfers who accidentally land on Talking Scot and and one or two other high impact sites.

The only known treatment (reached empirically!) is to expiate the condition by writing lists; communicating with fellow sufferers at length, depth and great rate; incessantly tracking non-existent relatives and inventing spurious family trees. Sufferers have the delusion that they will reach the end of their family line but to date no-one has actually linked directly to either Adam or EVE.

As yet recovery rates have not been elucidated and there are some cases which arose even before the birth of the Internet. (5 year rates not yet evaluated)

As yet no-one has put forward this condition as a thesis for medical study but there is a closely linked social study just beginning.

re finding lost people

Post by ASGROOMBRIDGE » Sat Feb 18, 2006 9:48 pm

It really is contagious, I have caught it and given it to my husband and I do believe one of my lovely grandaughters has caught it as well.

Going on holiday to America in a few weeks and my husband thinks I may have to have my laptop surgically removed before we go.

Tracey

My wife has done that meticulously since we got married (and before that too).
She is calling for her new diary before October starts to be ready for the New Year!

Russell

P.S. You're normal
