Hello here is Maggie
I would like to know if anybody can help me to find Edward Brannen's birth record in Old Marchar in Aberdeen. He was my great great grandfather. He was born in around 1851 or 1852. His parents James Brannen and Susan Peters.

Please let me know if you know anything about the Brannen family in Aberdeen, Montrose and Dundee. Please contact me.

Sorry I can't help you with a birth certificate for Edward Brannen.

I did wonder though if you had seen his mariage information at the www.Familysearch.com site?

Edward Brannen married Elspet Lees on 26 February 1870 in Old Machar.

There is also information at Family search about 2 other sons of James Brannen and Susan Peters.
William b. 10 June 1857, m. 24 September 1875, d. 3 February 1917
James b. 29 December 1859? Saint Nicolas/29 December 1860? Aberdeen, d. 23 October 1923
