William and Douglas Munro ? .....

Post by speleobat2 » Sun Apr 15, 2007 11:55 am

Thanks again Trish!

I'll take a second look at this later today. I got my copy of the Scotland North CD in yesterdays mail. It's taking a while to figure out how it works (I'm slow.), but there is a hugh amount of information on that disk. I looked at it until I was goggle-eyed last night! I did score one small point. There was some confusion as to whether my great, great grandmother was Jessie or Janet Milne. She is Jessie, her mother is Janet and her father is James. I found her baptism record from 1819!

Off to get my second cup of coffee. Maybe if I wash my glasses too I won't be so bleary eyed this morning.

Hi Carol,

Ah that's great news you're sharing with us. Hopefully, Trish will see this message the next time she signs onto TS?

Regards
Marilyn

Hi Carol

You did say on your other thread that you couldn't refind what I had found - if you would like to explain where you were looking for any of the information, I will try to help. The 1911 England Census will be released (I believe) in 2009 - so this may help find the rest of your family - only 2 more years to wait :(
