I saw New Year in surprisingly quietly with friends and a few drinks. I was in my bed before 3am.

All the best,

Hot AND moist here,

And hey Alan, how did you find the Australian Boxing Day Specials. They were so well patronised here in NZ, that the mall car parks overflowed, and people walked for miles, to get to the overcrowded shopping centres, to claim their specials. Some items were heavily discounted.

Not for me. I was happy just enjoying the rural farm life; the hot humid days, with a few light afternoon North East spats, due to a front that passed over from the Pacific.

Hello Alan,

I stayed away from the shops until yesterday when I had to get some provisions and return a faulty phone. I’ll leave the Boxing Day shopping to those who like that sort of thing.

All the best,
Alan
