Count me in Russell. How do I sign up and where do I send the money?

Hi Lorna
That's you counted in as an attendee (if that's the right word ?) If there is a financial cost it will be on the day but as things are a bit in the air still it might end up an afternoon session which wouldn't cost other than a donation for the tea/coffee. My family history group will cover the rent of the conference room if it has to be slimmed down. All of the AG hope to be there.

Sorry about the timing Wilma. I had to accept the dates on offer at the venue.

But it was unfair to put all the responsibility of going to Edinburgh and doing extensive research on Lesley and Andrew, who are both still working full time.
I agree Sarah, but let's not forget the countless hours other members who also worked full time, poured into the planning and attending the Tombola party.

Thank you Andrew and Lesley for your time spent in the archives searching for some member's long lost relatives!

Regards
Marilyn

Well Folks the Seminar idea has not generated enough participants so it has been downsized to an afternoon Open House with ALL the Admin Group in attendance. A mini "Who Do You Think You Are ? "event which locals might find interesting and informative too. The AG will be be available 2.00 till 5.00 pm.
Rather than explain how to get to Kilbarchan look at http://www.kipcokil.com which shows the venue and guidance on how to get there.
I look forward to meeting some of our members at least.

Sorry the gathering is to be downsized, but I'm still very enthused to be coming! =D> [scotland-flag]

Hi Russell, I'm afraid I'd neglected this forum for a while, but the meeting in Kilbarchan sounds interesting. It's on my list of places to visit, so all else being equal, I'd love to come along, if there's space.

Hi Lynn
It's open house on the 11th with no formal proceedings. The AG will all be here but with social interaction rather lectures the order of the day. We hope to attract some new family researchers and I'll have a range of potential guides and resources on display as well as social lubricants like tea and coffee, We'll be delighted to see you !

Some of us may be seriously jet-lagged (I'll have an 8 hour time difference) [snore] but we'll be there!

[cheers]
