Thanks for that suggestion - looking back through the thread, I don't think we managed to work out exactly where it was.

Not long after the previous messages were posted I did in fact manage to reunite the painting with some of the artist's family members, so 8 years on, I'm not sure where it is now or whether they've done anything more to work out where it was painted.
