Sorry I couldn't find a birth for William either on SP or Family search.
There is a marriage on SP for William Syme and Ann Nucle on SP m 22 Oct 1785, Dollar Clackmannan. There are also 2 births on SP for William and Ann as parents.
I could not find any matches for William and Agnes. So it is very possible that it was an Ann he married, although the names are interchangeable.

Doing a parent search on Family Search, I found these children of William and Ann.
William Syme b.7 May 1787 c.11 May 1787 Tillicoultry, Clackmannan
James Syme b.27 Apr 1790, c.2 May 1790 Tillicoultry, Clackmannan
Janet Syme b.25 Feb 1798 c.4 Mar 1798 Clackmannan
Christian Syme b 15 May 1802, c.6 Jun 1902 Clackmannan
Henry Syme b 4 Dec 1785, c.11 Dec 1785 Tillicoultry, Clackmannan
James Syme b 11 Jan 1792, c. 16 Jan 1792 Tillicoultry, Clackmannan
Thomas Sime c. 12 Apr 1796, Clackmannan.
Believe it or not Jerry it is not uncommon on OPR to omit the mother from the record when the details are given to the kirk registrar.
Most of the children are on SP OPR I believe, doing a search omitting the mother! I only did a preliminary search as I do not currently have the credits to look properly, but I will leave that fun part for you to find.
