Seasons Greetings all.
I have been quiet on my favourite forum for a while. Got involved in a very time consuming research of old newspapers, digging out a fantastic written heritage for the NZ families of some Brothers who emigrated from the UK in the 1880's. In NZ they had gone their differing ways, but the results of this research is bringing today’s descendants back together, to share in, and marvel at, the brothers pioneering achievements.
No one seems to now have contact with those left behind in the UK, but I see several PUBLIC MEMBER TREES are indexed on ANCESTRY. Does anyone have a current UK membership, and would be prepared to notify those members of material now being published ?
Can supply living contacts via PM if you can help. I think the UK greater family researchers will be interested. Not every day you get to claim even a small link, to the quality of material unearthed. Those old pioneers did do us proud.

Re: UK Ancestry member
I would suggest that you check the trees closely on Ancestry before assuming those posting are relatives. Look for trees which include sources (outside of ancestry) and stories/photos uploaded by the tree owner. If there are 20 trees on ancestry most of them have simply copied other folks trees. I just found one of mine that has a person born 1850 - married in 1837 and having children before she was born. Some "tree merging" gone wrong.
If you want to pm me an email address I can forward it - no guarantee you will get replies - some of the trees belong to people who have long left ancestry.

Greetings Trish.
OOp's sorry for the delay in replying, I evidently did not activate the email notification process so only just now found your offer, when I promised myself I would be up the farm to find a water leak. Will come back to you with a PM later today or this evening. Christmas activities and two funerals on top of the ho hum activities keeping me busy.
Thanks.
