Hi Gwennypenny:
Have you tried the 1911 census on ScotlandsPeople http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/searc ... .aspx?1911?
Doing a search Agnes Scott, female, age 2-4 with the second person Jane produces 5 hits. A search with the second person John produces 20 hits, both of these are available for 1 credit each.
You may be interested in https://familysearch.org/search/collection/igi where you may be able to make some headway using the option to add in more connections with known people to narrow down your search.
The drawback going that route is there are fewer records taken from original Scottish records.
