Hi Jannette,

I take it that these are birth/baptism records. from the dates, it is reasonable to assume that they married before 1855, so their marriage records (if they exist) will be in the OPRs, so are unlikely to have parent details. You would need to find their marriage records to see if by chance there is any parent information. Otherwise, you will need to find their death records. Assuming they lived past 1855, and were still living in Scotland, their death certificates should show the names of their parents (assuming that information was known to the person registering the death).

You will need to search the death records for the death of a female Elizabeth with surnames of Stewart and Renfrew. Even so, you would need to find theme in the censuses to see if they were ever at the address you are seeking.

It may be that the information that you are seeking does not exist, whether or not either of these two births belong to your ancestors.

All the best,

AndrewP

i dont know Andrew its like poking around down a dark hole ,i just got the details off son Charles death cert , i would assume she married Charles Stewart, as says M/S Renfrew .
but i cant find a Stewart /Renfrew marriage, so maybe not and a lot of Charles Stewarts born 1831/33 to narrow it down i cant find one for Causewayside Paisley unless i leave the Causewayside part out , really thats the only clue or lead
