FICAM

Post by Berowald » Sun Feb 07, 2016 5:26 am

So a few days ago I was googling the name of my Great Great Grandfather (whom I know hardly anything about) and I stumbled upon a user name Ficam posting stories pased down in his/her side of the family, Robert Singer Innes was her/his Great Grandfather, So we are related and I tried contacting Ficam for information about him. Sadly Ficam has not responded leading me to think Ficam quit the forum.

Does anybody know how I can get in contact with Ficam?

Hi Berowald,

[TS_welcome]

According to the forum statistics, Ficam was last active on the forum about 6 months ago, so I wouldn't assume that she is no longer around. Here's hoping...

All the best,

AndrewP

Hello there
Did you ever manage to find/contact ficam? I'd also love to have some contact as Robert was my great grandad too. My grandmother was Jemima Innes who was actually born on 2nd March 1918. It would be great to have further information. We moved up to Aberdeenshire from Fife almost 3 years ago and now live only a few miles from Fraserburgh. I'm sure my gran would've loved that.

sadly ive not been able to find Ficam but I did find a name. Ive also not found much on Robert Innes but I did find a family tree made by Adrian and Maggie Verry of New Zealand which is the same as mine just a few knew people, Which from what I know goes back to the year 1771 however I did find something on Geni.com (not very reliable) that is the same as Adrian and Maggies but adds a few new people dating it back to the late 1600s.

And also thats cool about your family I guess you know or atleast know about my grandfather Ian? He moved when he was 10 years old to Halifax in Yorkshire with James Innes and Georgina Connon.

I can give you all the information I know through a private message ill send you one asap :)
