Search Rooms Closed at New Register House - Temporary

Announcement from Scotland's People on Face book yesterday:

On-going technical problems mean our ScotlandsPeople search rooms are currently still closed.
Look out for further updates on re-opening on the National Records of Scotland website.
Please note, the ScotlandsPeople website is unaffected.

Some 'ransom ware' had been found in a separate system, so they are doing a thorough check up to make sure nothing else is compromised.

I don't know if any other search rooms are affected so it would be worthwhile checking before you travel.
