I have a Joanna Fisher Davidson (ms Leys) normally a Braemar resident, occasionally in Newcastle-upon-Tyne (1911 census)who dies in 1912 at 6 Elder Park St., Govan. Could this have been a hospital or nursing home or some such? She was only 47 and died of acute pneumonia - the informant was her son with an address in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Any ideas, you helpful folk??

This is the 1913 map for Elderpark Street. No 6 is in the Building next to Congregational Church (Congl Ch).

On a later map it shows no 6 along with 4 and 8

Neither look likely to be a hospital or such, looks more like any normal building in the area.

You can lookup valuation rolls on scotlandspeople for 1905 & 1915, possibly staying with another relative. You say she was in Newcastle in 1911, but may have just been visiting at the time of census.
Alternately, you could contact the Mitchell library in Glasgow, they have many more valuation Rolls including 1912, she may appear in them?

I think they may charge for doing lookups, but worth a try.

In the Glasgow Directories for 1911/12, 1912/13 and 1913/14 there are three names against 6 Elder Park Street.
