Hi Heather
Not sure I have any immediate suggestions. Is the file you are uploading an image of a certificate? Did you originally save it from the SP site? If it's in your computer and a .jpg type it should upload fine. What exactly does the error message say?
Sorry for all the
I'm sure somehow we can all sort this out
Best wishes

Hi jean
This was saved from SP
Disk quota exceeded
You have a space quota of 1024K, your files currently use 0K, adding this file would make you exceed your quota.
this was scanned from the printout from I printed from SP
No file was uploaded !
If you have really selected a file to upload, check that the server allows file uploads...
Both files are saved as a jpeg.

Hi Heather,
The scanned image must be too large a file. The ways of reducing it are to scan only an area of the image, to reduce the resolution of the scan, or to reduce the quality of the jpg (make it more compressed). I hope that you can do that without losing the clarity of the image.
When the file is less than 1024kb, then you should be able to upload it to the gallery.
All the best,
Andrew Paterson

Image to Gallery
This question of uploading an image to gallery i am sure comes up fairly often, if not every time some one like myself who is not what one would say Computer literate signes on to this forum.........Has there been any discussions in the past where i may and future illiterates, can go to find out how to go about setting up this program on their computer.Quite often i see that people will ask (like i have) help on some clarification of a name, address, etc.on some Birth, Death, or Marriage certificate I did try to set this up on my computer, but had no luck.I would ask that if some kind person should take up this cause, that he or she remember that i do know which is the keyboard and the other big piece is called a computer,I think.
Could this be added to the FAQ under.
HOW TO UPLOAD IMAGES FROM YOUR COMPUTER TO GALLERY.
or something like that,if this has already been looked into and a answer to my question is available, would some one please point me in the right direction..
Thanking you all.

PICTURE EDITING
drapadew and any other intrested parties?
All pictures/graphics have a file size, and they can vary greatly. The size that you are resticted to uploading to the Gallery is 1024Kb. Since you have copies of these on your computer and can view them you must have a Picture Editor of some sort (it usally opens the picture/graphic). Within that program will normally be a method of reducing the size of the file to allow you to upload it to the gallery, or for that matter save space on your Hard Drive.
Any other queries get back to me
