Copying

Post by Jean Jeanie » Wed Jan 26, 2005 3:48 pm

I would like to keep a copy of Drew's "To a Faert" I thought it was hilarious.
I am useless at doing things like that on the computer. I usually opt for the easy way out and type it again from scratch.
Could someone enlighten me on how to save it. It's time I learned how to use this thing properly.
Jean

P.S. I did try but I saved the whole topic not just the one poem!!

I would highlight the text, then copy it and paste it into a new document in a word processor or text editor program.

All the best,

Andrew Paterson

Tried that. I only highlighted the one poem and tried to save it, but I saved the whole topic!

What am I doing wrong?

We've all been there at one time or another, or suffered embarrassingly from "finger trouble".

And if anyone tries to tell you differently, then just let me know and I'll personally mollicate them !!
