Printing copies landscape from SP

Post by marva » Fri Feb 25, 2005 2:26 am

Can someone tell me how to print copies of documents from SP into landscape? I just print and some are really hard to read when they only take up half a page. Not to smart on computer, but I'm still learning. I have Windows XP if that means anything regarding this.

Hi Marva

I'm not an expert but this works for me. When you have the document on the screen that you want to print out...click on "file" from the taskbar above....then click on "Print" when the file list drops down. Print will bring up a box to select your printer or particulars like that...I have a click box that says "Preferences" and when I click on this up comes tabs and one sayd "Layout". Click on "Layout". In layout you can tick off the option for Landscape orientation instead of Portrait. This sounds complicated but it really isn't...I know you can do it!!

Hi Marva

What Jean has described so well is exactly the way I do it and she is right - it really is easy but then isn't everything once you know how especially in computer 'speak'. Jean has given you nice straightforward easy to follow instructions so why can't the programme makers do the same. I hate those computer manuals as they are written in a language that is foreign to me but probably can be understood by my 10 year old grand nephew.

Good luck

Annette

THANKS THANKS THANKS

Tried it and first time it worked. I have two books that I have read and re read and could get no where. Looks like it's "Ask and you shall receive".
Why don't you write a book for the novice to learn from?
