MAX files used to be generated using a very expensive professional 3D animation program by Kinetix called 3D Studio Max. The program used to cost over £3000 so it's unlikely anyone will have the viewer.
Searching for Keogh, Kelly, Fitzgerald, Riddell, Stewart, Wilson, McQuilkin, Lynch, Boyle, Cairney, Ross, King, McIlravey, McCurdy, Drennan and Woods (to name but a few).

Also looking for any information on Rathlin Island, County Antrim, Ireland.

. max file extensions are PaPerport files you can download the PaperPort Viewer from "www.visioneer.com/products/software/viewer/body.html" its free. once you have the PaperPort program itself, you can use it to comvert from MAX to JPG.

In PaperPort:
1. click File/Import and select the .Max file
this will put the pic on the PaperPort desktop
2. Right click on the pic, then select Export
supply the folder and filename to save the .JPG file

Hope this helps for future
