Hi I found the TS through Scotlands People :D it's an excellent site that offers a whole load of information and help from people who have gathered information from all around the world in search of their ancestry

I thought I had been a member for years, However, on looking I see I joined on 28 Mar 2008. That is about the time I joined the local Computer Club so I was probably by someone in their Genealogy special interest group.

I like this site. It is one of the few that I check every day.

In terms of information, I do feel slightly guilty as I take more than I give.

I was "googling", trying to find out what had happened to Hugh Wallis' batch numbers website, and the most helpful information was here. Once here, it is fascinating to read about other folks' research
