Hello To Everyone At 'TalkingScot',

I am recently new to 'TalkingScot', this is my first post, so I am just having a look around. I first heard about 'TalkingScot' when it was recommended on the 'RootsChat.com' Message Board.

My 0wn particular areas of interest include Mitchells, Moirs, Gibbs and Raes from the Stonehaven/Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire areas (mother's side. Also Weirs of Ayrshire, Sturgeons of Ireland (County Down)(fathers). :)

Hi, janemar, welcome to Talking Scots, I noticed you are researching Weir in Ayrshire, I have a Mary Weir (parents John Weir, Calico Printer and Sarah Thomson, they were from Kilmarnock) Mary Weir married Thomas Muir ......... any connection ?? :roll:
