Hello, I found this site by accident in Google a couple of months ago. Finally got round to registering this week. Glad I did.

Hi Jaycee

Glad that Google brought you to the right place. If you have been lurking for a week or two you will realise that as well as serious enquiry here there is a lot of fun too.

I thought I was quite well up on things Scottish - after all I live here! :!:
I have since learned an amazing amount about all aspects of local history, industry, lifestyles.

If you want to know something - ask!
There are few rules other than the basic courtesies we all observe.

Have fun as well as fertilise your tree.

I discovered this site while looking for general information on Scotland and thought I would check it out... anywhere that people with a love of Scotland gather can't be too bad!

I discovered this site after one of your members (Hugh Stevely) signed my website Guestbook.
This looks a really useful site. I have been researching my late father's wartime experiences in the British Merchant Navy.
If I can help answering any questions on your seafaring forum I will.
Regards
Hugh
