HOPES OF FEWER MINE FATALITIES. An inquiry was held yesterday by DT. Green, the Chesterfield Coroner, into the death of Henry Wright (41), of 19, Ann Street, Creswell, w h o was killed by a fall of roof at the Creswell Colliery while in the act, it is presumed, of withdrawing timber. Mr. S. Evans, agent of the Bolsover Colliery Co., said he was hoping that they would soon have fewer fatalities arising from the withdrawal of props ... ..
