This is very good news indeed. I will PM you in the next few days as I have my grandchildren staying at the moment and it would be impossible to concentrate! They are 8 and 6. Look forward to sharing information.

No rush at all, am sure it's a bit of a surprise (as it was when I plugged in the names of Dougall McFarlane and Elisabeth Garvie in Google a bit out of frustration as I had found her Cree family but nothing more for McFarlane, and your post was on the first page of results!) . Just wanted you to know I'm here, and actively researching, and am happy to invite you to the family tree I have on ancestry so you can read through what I have at your leisure. Thanks for the reply, 4th cousin!
