Ann,

are you looking for them in Ireland or in Scotland? If you have dates for Scotland, then try Scotlands People. If you're looking for them in Ireland, God help you! I'm based in Ireland and I know more about my scottish ancestors through my PC than I know about some branches of my irish ancestors because searching opportunities are so scant here compared to Scotland. Give us a little more information and we might be able to help.

Farnon/Reynolds Newmains

Post by lizlloyd » Mon Feb 07, 2011 11:49 pm

Hi,

Came across this by accident the other night. I don't know if you are still pursuing this:
My granny was Elizabeth Farnon who married John (Jack) Reynolds and they lived in Newmains.
I still live in Newmains.
For more info please reply.

Elizabeth

Hello Elizabeth and welcome to Talking Scot! :D
It sounds as if you have a direct connection to the people annepat was interested in. I see that it has been over 5 years since she was on the forum, though, so am not sure she will see your message :(

If you don't hear soon, then try sending her a pm from the button just under her name on her post. If she hasn't changed her email address since she registered, she should get a notification of your message.

All the best,
Sarah
