Hi Steve,

There are no sites for Ireland like Scotlands people but there are a few that can help to pin down where your Irish rellies came from:

http://www.ireland.com/ancestor/

You may find something in:

http://www.irishorigins.com/

http://www.cmcrp.net/

http://www.irishgenealogy.ie

Or

http://www.ancestryireland.co.uk/

Happy hunting
Searching for Keogh, Kelly, Fitzgerald, Riddell, Stewart, Wilson, McQuilkin, Lynch, Boyle, Cairney, Ross, King, McIlravey, McCurdy, Drennan and Woods (to name but a few).

Also looking for any information on Rathlin Island, County Antrim, Ireland.

Hi Steve,

My husband is a Gibbons. He was born in the USA but his father Thomas Gibbons came from Meelickmore, County Mayo. My husband's cousin traced the Gibbons family back to the early 1800's, all in Meelickmore.
