Sarah I haven't seen those records, interesting I never put two and two together, that Susan passed away in Wales, makes sense that he moved to Pennsylvania without her.

I'll try to gather together what I have and send it to you, but my internet is shaky where I am right now, so it may take a few days.

Hi again,
mace334 wrote: I curious if Mary had any sons and if so were any John?
Mary's eldest child was John, born 8 May 1692. So far, so good!

I see your tree on Ancestry.com and am trying to get to the facts, if such still exist, about Florence and her family. I note that you have posted a document "Ancestors of Mary Leech-- The Hayes, Lewis & David Families" that says, "Florence Jones arrived at Philadelphia on the ship Morning Star from Glamorganshire, Wales in November 1683." There is a citation '6' after this sentence, presumably giving the source of this information. Do you have the complete article and if so, could you tell me what '6' refers to? I always like to get back to the primary source, if at all possible, or at least the earliest citation.

Thanks,
Sarah

Good morning Sarah the information was written by a William Fetters,a distant cousin.William wrote several books on our family the book, pertaining to Florence and the morning star is ,William Fetters (1794 - 1857) and Mary B. Leech: Ancestors and Descendants (Six Columbiana County, Ohio Pioneer Families) Paperback.Mr Fetters passed away a couple of years ago.William's death is unfortunate,I would heaved loved to pick his brain. William supposedly spent years doing research on the Fetters ,Leech and Young line. Stephen

Do you have the book? If so, could you check what footnote 6 refers to? I'm curious to find out where he got the information, so I can look at that source also.

Okay, then I won't order it too! I look forward to hearing what you find out :D

I'll try to email you the image of Susanna's death record in a couple of minutes and hope the signal is strong enough here to get it sent properly. Hang on.
