New Look @ www.familysearch.org

Post by DavidWW » Sat Sep 10, 2005 11:55 am

Don't be surprised when you next want to access IGI or whatever at www.familysearch.org as there's a new "front end", with a completely different design of the intro page.

But be not afeared, as all that was there before is still there now, if you hit the "search Genealogy Records & Library" menu halfway down the right hand screen.

For the confirmed traditionalists among us (I nearly wrote recidivists  ), there's also a "Go to old FamilySearch.org" button on the strapline menu at the top right of the screen, but the new "search Genealogy Records & Library" menu takes you there anyway................

David

NB When the "British" census is referred to this still doesn't include Scotland

Tidier inteface but nothing different after you press the search button. It's still a great site with all that free info but would be nice to see some new records added- even for a fee.
