Hi Cathy,
Her name is Toni Harrison and I'm assuming you have the address of the site? I'm sure she'll be surprised to receive your note, my bet is she doesn't get many of those in her line of business.
By the sound of it, I sent a JPG file If you pm me your home address I'll drop the original in the mailbox and scan them to ya again later on today.

Providence, RI question for Marilyn
Hi Marilyn,
I just posted a picture of the houses in Providence where my grandparents lived. I think this is the Willow St. address. The photo had a note "house in rear" so I'm guessing that one of the two houses in the rear was # 83.
http://talkingscot.com/gallery/displayi ... ?pos=-1336
The caption was "Mary Masquerading". That's my grandmother's sister Mary Cadenhead Munro. I have no idea what the occassion was but it looks like she's intending to have some fun! Great Aunt Mary never married, but she ended up traveling around the world. She lived here is the US with my grandparents off and on for several decades returning to Scotland at least three times and made one trip to China and back.

Thanks for the URL Marilyn.
Don't know what happened to the picture. It wasn't blurred like that when it left here.

Providence, RI question for Marilyn
Hi again,
I don't know what's going on, but I just checked a bunch of pictures on the Gallery and all of them were out of focus on my computer. I know they aren't always like that. Must be gremlins at work again.

Hi Carol,
What a great picture of your aunt! Maybe she's dressed up to attend a costume party at one of the local Social Clubs in the area or the Casino at Roger Williams Park or maybe it was a "Block Party" where they roped off the streets and everyone came outside to join in the festivities? I'm going to print off a copy and try to get a picture of the Willow street address taken from the same angle. Plus it will serve as some identification if the present owner comes out to question why I'm taking pictures of their house. This is not the most secure area of our tiny state. Just for your information, you can drive through the State of Rhode Island in approx. 40 minutes.

Providence, RI question for Marilyn
Hi Marilyn,
I'm glad that you can see that picture! All of the pictures and graphics like the map on the Weather channel website are blurry on my computer. I was just trying to connect to the Help center for either Windows Vista or MSN and got lost in their garbage. Guess I'll have to try to figure out which hoops to jump through tomorrow. In the meantime, the text is fine so I can keep on with my email.
OOOOh, I love my computer, I love my computer, I love my computer, Really. I do. (Until it stops working the way it's supposed too.)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Carol,
I found myself chanting those exact words a few weeks back when my computer started to act up. Ah, I gave up and bought a new Dell with Vista. Up until the other evening I didn't have any problems until I tried to open an old file, which Vista couldn't identify.
Why don't you post a question in the Computer-Software forum here on TS, to see if anyone can help you get your problem sorted?
Regards

Providence, RI question for Marilyn
Back again! I found the email Help location. We'll see what they can do while I sleep!
Please don't do anything dangerous to take those pictures! I know you're smarter than that, but I had to say it anyway!
I found several other pictures, but they didn't really show the houses. I think one of the pictures was of baby George when he was a few months old. None of them was signed, but a couple had the date 1914 on them. I also have a picture of people in canoes on a pond at Hunt's Mills. At first, my sister and I thought it was in Scotland, but Google came through again and set us straight. I also found a small picture of my grandfather standing in front of a window with a sign that says "Boarding Rooms" but with no identificaition. It could be anywhere from Aberdeen to Detroit.
Just got a Topic Notification so I'll check it out. Maybe it's from you!
