Canadian Census

Hi all,

After finding a Gt Uncle in Manitoba, Canada, I thought I would have a look around the area he worked, for his employers farm in the 1916 Census.

What I am not sure about is the Districts and Sub disrtricts, he was working in Darlingford, Manitoba, I found it on google maps, and all the sites I have visited to find out about it, mentions Pembina, but when looking at results for the 1916 census I dont see any Pembina or Darlingford results, can someone tell me what district I should be typing in.

Hi Ann,
I searched in the database for Manitoba, Keyword: Pembina and the results were all in Lisgar District.

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for that, I seem to go round in circles when I am searching on Ancestry!
I'll have a try with Lisgar and see if I can find them.
