In answer to the question "Did you see such and such a program last night?" I respond "No, don't have a TV". There is a moment of silence while people try to figure out what's wrong with me and how I survive.

So there are at least 3 of us with no TV :D

It took me years of writing (plus a home visit) to convince the licence authority that i didn't have a telly, and that's why i didn't need a licence.
They just presume everyone does have one.

Hi Everyone

I don't watch much TV either. Here, a few popular programs are American Idol and survivor. (or called something like that).

My husband and I are in the dark, when friends and some members of the family ( his side, of course, not mine) start talking about these shows. We get strange looks from them about our ignorance.

I see after reading all these posts, that Canada, instead of losing a province (Nova Scotia) has actually GAINED one NovaStotia

Sheila

P.S. NEVER seen The Sound of Music? :o

Hello all
I have only ever watched one episode of neighbours, in a pub, believe it or not, and the people I was having a few with couldnt understand what I was laughing at. They then explained to me that neighbours wasnt a comedy

Well HK should now been in the land of haggis and kilts now, she sneaked in with the Alexander Brothers. At least no news of national disasters yet.
Hope she doesnt go on a haggis hunt  That could change Scottish tradition for ever if she does
When she catches up with some of the good folk on TS, I hope they forward a SITREP to us all :D
