library query
Hi Trish, from a very rainy Scotland, The email came from Qld Govt Office and she said I could buy a cert if I wanted more info.I thought the cost was too much so I will just have to content myself with what I have at the mo,I know she lived at Lindsay St Bundamba 1n 1917 and she died 1918 so I guess thats where she died. Thank you for your help and wishing you good luck with yours

Sooner or later someone will track you down (or vice versa). I recently met up with a 3rd cousin in Canada.
If you wanted to look for descendants you could try the white pages

Hi Trish
Yes ,I thought of the white papers and discovered a Shanks living in Bundamba and noticed on a map that it wasnt too far from where my ancestors had lived. I havent the courage to contact them as Im unsure of this. I hope you are having some luck with yours all the best from Falkirk from Christine
