Thanks for those Leanne,

I’ll bookmark them for future reference. I didn’t have a category for the Australian Capital Territory so I’ll put it in NSW seeing it’s within that state.

The South Australia teacher’s site is a great find. It even has comments on the performance of individual teachers. (Somewhat cold, v careful and earnest, v gd class; determined, gd standards, exc prparation, earnest)

I’m not sure whether your teachers link is working, but if not try this one. http://www.unisanet.unisa.edu.au/resear ... /teachers/

All the best,
Alan

This NZ guy has some useful links on his site

http://www.chrismahoney.co.nz/

But his Scottish ancestors may also be of interest to some(Names include Pagan, Hunter, Greig, McKenzie, Bain, McLennan and Reid)

Regards,
Ann

Thanks for the link update Alan. If you drop the teachers/ from the end there are some other links to data gathered by Mr Condon.

To add to your ACT links - deaths from 1930 to 1974 are available in a spreadsheet
