FLETCHER to NSW Australia .....

Post by scotincanada » Fri Mar 03, 2006 2:59 pm

Hello,

Seeking connections with any FLETCHERs who originated in Glenorchy, Argyll, Scotland & ventured to the Inverell, NSW, Australia area early - mid 1800s. They are descendants of Archibald FLETCHER, 8th chief of the clan. I also descend from the 8th chief.

Mary (Fletcher) Harris

Hello scotincanada

I note your query is some time ago and you may have solved your problem, but have you tried the NSW Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages at

http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/familyHistory ... istory.htm

then click on "Search Historical Indexes" then "search now" then choose what interests you.
