Ships list for 1960-70 .....

Sometime ago, I accessed through a link either on this forum or one of the many others, a ships list for passengers from the early 1960s. Does anyone know which one it could have been.
I am looking for a George Farquhar and his wife Wilma who arrived in Australia about them.
Any guidance much appreciated.

Have you looked at the National Archives of Australia site?

There's a record on there for George and Wilmas sailing on the Fairsky in 1963.

Thanks for the link. Yes, that will be them.
Now have to try and find out if they are still around.
I knew I had seen it somewhere before Christmas but at that time, didn't know his wifes name. Today I had lunch with George's cousin's daughter and she knew who he married.
George was a keen sailor and she remembers he was in either the Commonwealth /Olympic Games in the 50s.
I had google for a passenger list today before posting but couldn't find the one I had seen before. It must have been the one on your link

Hi Bertha,

Just noticed that the actual record isn't online yet, but if you contact them they should have it online for you in 4 to 6 weeks. I got the emigration applications for a couple of my relatives, who also sailed on the Fairsky, and it gave me a lot of info including the address they went to in Australia.

I was wondering as I didn't go in and look until after I posted my reply.
Couldn't see the name of the ship had wondered if Farquhar had been spelt correctly so even used wildcards.
Thanks for letting me know I wasn't going crazy!
How did you find them if it isn't on line.?
I will contact them, I'm sure I saw it somewhere before but hadn't been sure it was them until I spoke to my friend today. Could it have been on Ancestory when they had those free days?

Hi Bertha,

If you go to the search page and enter your relatives name into the keywords section and put in 1963 the details will come up, but you can't access the actual record unless you contact them.

If you've any problems just get back to me.

My Father came to Canada on the Fair Sky's sister ship the Fair Sea in 1957. Small world.
