Australian Dollar and Pound

Post by wini » Wed Apr 18, 2007 2:36 am

Since the $A has been rocketing up I thought I would be a canny Scot and buy a few extra credits at SP only when I look today the Pound is also rocketing along.
The highest it has been for umteen years.

Can't win by the looks of it.

Hi Wini,
My husband just remarked tonight that the pound was now at over two U.S.$$-- help! This is the time when all the people in the U.K. should be vacationing in the U.S. or buying property over here. On the other hand, it is not a good time for me to be buying SP credits  :(
Regards,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

The Scots are vacationing here, and spending lots of money!!! Palm Springs has been full of Scottish people for the past few weeks. Many of them told me they couldn't believe how cheap everything was here in the USA.

DAVIE,

Have you been leading me astray??
I thought your post said that the Free SP Credits only applied to UK residents and not us colonials

Jim
It has indeed done a disappearing act, as the thread was quarantined for various reasons.
