Post by HeatherH » Fri Aug 17, 2007 2:55 am

Hello all,
I have found some obits on Ryerson's Index. They are from a Sydney newspaper. How can I see whats in the Obit or a transcription of it? Seems the papers are in library archives but whose?

If you have the correct version of the Ryerson index(there is a copy around), you can request a lookup

http://www.ryersonindex.org/ - check the "requesting a lookup" link on the left hand side. Note that you have to join a mailing list for your request to be posted on same

For folks in Australia, the State libraries in each capital city usually have their own and some other states main papers on microfilm
