Feart tae tell you about the deep fried Mars Bar. Haven't seen it myself but have heard tell.

Can't be bought in the shops, but you have to try stovies with oatcakes.

A friend or relie should be able to make stovies for you (basically tatties, onions and beef dripping) Pieces of left over meat can be added. i.e. roast beef or roast lamb leftovers or even sausages!

Aw Wilma and Andrew....mah mooth is waterin' already. Square sausage..yup....that's oan the list noo. Ah'm already fond of yer shortbread....that one seems to be imported this way with no restriction :shock: Oh goodness Irn Bru...how could I forget. Of course I'll have to sample some of your 'water of life' too just to say I've been there and done that :shock:

Ah was feart of the Cullen Skink but a wee google as set that straight. I do believe I would enjoy it....being an ol chowdah hand and all!

Tell me....does everyone eat Porridge (Porage) every morning :?: ....... or was that just my grandfather ! :lol:

Oh stop. Square sausage, plain loaf, tattie scones thin and soft enought to roll. It's enough to drive a body made.

Does anyone else remember picking rose hips every autumn to take to school for pennies. The Delrosa lorry used to pick them up every Monday. When I tell people down here about that they look at me as if I were daft.

There are those who do, but not me. I have my Corn Flakes or the like and fruit juice.
