The information about the name change from Austin to Bell I found on Rootschat.com on a thread about Matthew Bell Woolsington Hall post 43 and onward. My understanding is Woolsington Hall is a separate line of Bells, but Sir John Austin Bell and his knighthood is explained in post 45.
