This is my Donaldson Line and if any of you have a connection to it i would like to hear from you if only to staighten out what i have as you all know they were not very imaginitive in naming their children !

didnt marry my gt grandmother but had 2 children with her. He could have had many more being a seaman but i will have to do a posting on him alone !

William Donaldson and Mary Shaw did marry in Kilmallie 1844.

3. Peter b 25th March 1860
4. Alexander b 2nd February 1863 and
5. William b 25TH April 1847 in Rathven Banff
William b 1847 m Jane Hartley 14 Aug 1870 Elgin
They had three children born in England
Jane 1872 Nottingham
William Hartley b 1874 Chapel en le Frith - my gt grandfather.
Mary Isabel 1877 Morley Leeds.
What become of these children after 1906 i have no idea.
