RULE, Henry b 1922 falkirk

Hi i am looking for information on my husbands grandfathers family.

Henry rule aka Harry Rule
Born 1922 in Falkirk
Left for Australia on the ship "Cheshire" 9 Aug 1949 aged 27 years
Last known address: 49 Park Avenue Laurieston Falkirk

Arrived melbourne Australia on 12 Sep 1949

He was a bricklayer.
He lived in morwell, Victoria, Australia
He married Lillian Hutchinson sometime between 1949 and 1954
They had 5 children, James(deceased at or not long after birth), Andrew, Elizabeth, robert(deceased 1984) and kaylene.
Henry passed away on May 7th 2005
We will be purchasing a copy of Henry's death certificate hopefully next week to find out his parents names. Any information that people can help me with about Henry before he came to Australia, his siblings, parents, grandparents etc would be appreciated.

All the very best with your searching, here on TS we are more than happy to render as much assistance as we can with peoples searches.
But be aware of "cut offs" that we use, which are in line with Scotlands Peoples own guidelines for downloading and viewing records.
Also you could do a search on the Australian National Archives, you could find some information there.

There’s just one Henry Rule birth registered in Falkirk in 1922. You can order a copy of the certificate from Scotlandspeople.

There is a plumbers business in Falkirk by the name of George M Rule, not many others by that name left in the area [according to the phone book ]

Loads of 'Rules' buried in Camelon Cemetery but obviously any relationship with the Henry in question is unknown. Possibly once his parents are identified we could get a connection.

(I have a copy of the Internments CD's)
